Winemaker Celine Chauvet is the latest generation to create Gigondas on this estate, founded by the family in 1806. The grapes are picked by hand, macerated 25 days for luxurious concentration of fruit, and aged for a year in oak. It is bottled unfiltered and unfined.
It's a powerful wine, with concentrated flavors of red berries, licorice, pepper and spice. Soft and rounded on the palate.
