The Sobrero family has been making Barolo since the 1930s. They value excellent raw material, growing nebbiolo, barbera and dolcetto on favored sites in the heart of the Barolo zone. In fact, their cantina sits atop the Villero vineyard, one of the most prestigious sites in Castiglione Falletto. They are commited to sustainable viticulture and to making wine using as little intervention as possible. We have found no better value, price to quality in all of the Langhe.
Fresh, varietal, lively, very open nose with a nice fruity expression (cherry and currant) and a light vein of almond and violet and a hint of underbrush.
